Major Kudos

We just got back from seeing The Dark Knight.  I’m glad that we went early in the day.  Tickets weren’t as expensive as they normally would be of course and there weren’t nearly as many people there as would be later in the day.  We had planned on seeing the moving at the drive in, but changed our minds when we thought about how dark some of the scenes would be.  Movies with darker scenes are better visually when watched in the theater rather than at the drive in.

SOOO… to sum it up…  Simply AMAZING!  There’s so much to rave about with this movie.  Where to even start?  First and foremost… Heath Ledger was PHENOMENAL and so much more.  I am a huge Jack Nicholson fan but I have to say with out a doubt that Heath Ledger outdid him 250% in the role as the Joker.  Out of all the characters that have played Batman, Christian Bale is the best.  The movie felt like it lasted a lot longer than 2 1/2 hours, but I say that in a good way.  I loved every second of it.  There was a bad moment in the whole thing.  By far, this was the best Batman movie ever made not to mention the best movie based off of a comic book ever made.

This is all in my opinion of course.  =)

Go see it!!!!

I will be in line to buy this movie when it eventually makes it to DVD.  In the mean time, I’m happy to be one of the people that contributed to it’s record breaking opening weekend. I don’t forsee any movies coming out anytime soon that will be breaking this movie’s record.  It was a $6.75 well spent.
