Anybody Have $241 That I Can Borrow?

I’ve been calling around to all of my family trying to borrow $241.  Why?  Oh because I decided that I want to fly home tomorrow so that I can go to my 10 year class reunion this weekend.  LOL  It’s not going to happen, but it’s not due to lack of effort of trying to come up with the money on my part.  I really wasn’t all that worried about going to the damn thing.  In fact I really didn’t want to go up until today. 

I just couldn’t justify flying all the way back home to go and see people that I don’t even talk to anymore.  That was until today.  I saw Jenny’s myspace update about the 10 year reunion, and all of the sudden got this overwhelming desire to want to be there for it.  I checked plane ticket prices just out of curiosity to see how much they were, and for a flight leaving tomorrow it is only $241!  For one day advanced purchase, that’s pretty damn good.

Soooo… I called everyone I could think of to see if they would have some extra cash that I could borrow so that I could home for the weekend.  LOL  Unfortunately nobody had the extra funds.  I wasn’t able to get ahold of my dad.  I might try to call him again later because I’m pretty sure that he would be able to help me out.  But if he’s not home and is travelling right now, then I would be outta luck.  At this point, I don’t think that I’m going to even bother trying to come up with the money anymore. 

Regardless, I still have the next 5 days off, so that is a bonus.  Instead of going home to see old friends and family, I’ll be spending time with my husband and probably going up to Redding to see his family.  Oh well!  I’ll be doing my best to enjoy the days off.

Jacob finally got his stimulus check.  yay  It’s not going to do us much good other than making a very small dent in bills.  Being a grown up SUCKS!  LOL

How about a book update… I haven’t put one up for awhile.

So I finished The Host and I absolutely loved it!  Stephanie Meyer is defintely my favorite author.  I would love it if she made a sequel to this book.

Once I’ve finished these books, I think I’m going to go ahead and re-read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse.  LOL  Depending on how fast I finish those books, hopefully shortly after I’m finished with them again then it will be time to pick up the new book.  Less than 2 months!!!!  Now THAT makes me really excited.
