Hiking and Shopping and Reading, Oh my!

I found out this weekend that I don’t like heights.  Okay… it wasn’t so much the heights that bothered me, it was the fear of going tumbling head first down the side of the massive hill that my husband insisted that we climb up on Saturday.  I told him that I wanted to go to the top of the hill (it doesn’t look as steep or really as high when you are looking at it from a distance).  Needless to say, Jacob had me climbing up the side of the hill which was probably at a good 75 degree angle.  Going up wasn’t too bad, until about 3/4 of the way up I realized I was going to have to go back down.  LMAO  Talk about panic attack.

Luckily we made it back down the other side of the hill which wasn’t quite so steep.  It still sucked though, and I swore to Jacob that I would never do that again.  LOL

Later on Saturday afternoon, Desi stopped by and we headed to the mall.  Torrid was having a 50% off sale on items that are already on clearance.  Love love LOVE that store.  Take a peak at what I bought:

These are actually in black with little red stars and guitars on them.  WAY CUTE!  There were Jacob’s favorites too.  LOL

Black pinstripe Dickies.  Can’t wait to wear these!

I got this shirt, but it looks way better on me than on this not so cute model.

I also got a pair of the most comfortable gray workout pants.  They seriously are the most comfortable pants that I own now.  I couldn’t find a picture of them on the torrid website though.

I am now only $45 away from getting a 5% discount for a whole year at Torrid.  WOO HOO!!!  I’m so excited.  LOL  Here’s a picture of a couple of dresses that I saw that I would love to get for the wedding in April.

I ♥ both of these dresses, but I’m not planning on buying anything until the week before we leave anyway.  I’m planning on losing at least another 30 to 40 pounds before then, so it would be pointless to get anything just yet.

Sunday was spent being lazy and just reading yet another book.  I already finished the last Dark-Hunter book that I posted in my last entry before this.  I didn’t have the next book in the series, so I read this instead:

It was okay.  Definitely not as good as the Dark-Hunter books.  I got the next book in this series too.

They are readable books, just not nearly as good as the Dark-Hunters.

I won’t be reading that book until later on though.  Not until I have read this one which I started today:

I’m pretty happy with the fact that I’ve been able to keep track of all the books that I’ve read so far this year.  I’m doing good!!!  =)

Total books read this year = 8.
