Goodbye Cell Phone

I left my cell phone on the lightrail this morning.  GAHH!  I got off at the transfer station, waited for my next train, got ON my next train, and finally realized that I had left my cell phone on the seat that I was sitting in.  DAMN IT!  Normally I have it in my pocket, but today the skirt I’m wearing doesn’t have pockets.  Instead of just putting the phone in my computer bag, I layed it on the seat next to me.  And then proceeded to LEAVE it on the train.  SHIT!

Really the only downside to losing the phone is the fact that all my numbers are on it.  I already have another phone at home that I will use.  Now I just have to get everybody’s numbers to put on the new phone and SIM card.  Luckily I still have contact with the Cingular people that I used to work with on my last position.  I simply IMed Michele and asked her to swap my mobile number to a different SIM card, so now anyone who finds the phone won’t be able to use it.  I’ll just have to wait until I get home to put the new SIM into the other phone and everything will be all good again.

Well… this is going to be a super short entry.  I don’t really have anything else to write about other than that.  Hope everybody has a great weekend!

I hate losing my cell phone, luckily I have only had to actually replace it once when my purse was stolen at a bar. I always leave it at friends houses though or in different purses I have and spend forever looking for the stupid thing but I love it at the same time. It is good you had another phone and connections at Cingular to change things over for you. Where in CA do you live? I am in Chico.

Haha, once, my friend dropped her cell phone in the toliet! I laughed so hard! But other than that, it really sucks when you lose your cell phone. Luckily, you have connections! -Amanda

Crazy! I am going to Redding this weekend, that is where I was born and raised and my parents live there still. =)
