Punishment

So my punishment for playing hookie yesterday is the fact that now I have a nice and painful UTI.  GAHHH!!!  This sucks!!!  I rarely ever get UTI’s, but DAMN when I do they SUCK.  Not that if I got them more often they wouldn’t suck.  It’s literally been years since I’ve had one.  I hope it is years and years and YEARS again before I get another one.  Okay… I REALLY hope I don’t EVER get another one.

I got up and went to work this morning.  Actually felt fine when I woke up and got going.  Got to work… had problems with my computer getting up and running… took a bathroom break…  went back to my desk and started working on emails… started to feel uncomfortable, and felt like I needed to go to the bathroom again.  So I went to the bathroom to take care of business, and felt that oh so unforgetable sting of a UTI.  Great.  Just great.

I went back to my desk for a few more minutes.  Even though I had just gone to the restroom, I had the urge to go back again.  I knew I didn’t really have to go though.  So instead of staying at work and walking back and forth from the bathroom all day, I sent and instant message to my boss to let him know that I had to leave due to still not feeling well (yeah yeah, I was fine yesterday, but today I’m not).  I called and made a doctor’s appointment for first thing in the A.M.  At least I’ll be able to get a real doctor’s note.  LOL

So now I’m back home again.  I’m going to work from home today though.  So at least I’ll get paid even though I’m not at work.  I’m really not liking my new manager.  He’s such an ass, and because of him I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up not having my job for all that much longer.  I seriously think that he doesn’t like me and is just waiting for the right moment to send me packing.  Even though I do the best that I can at this job.  It’s not my fault that my job is probably meant for at least 2 people and not just one.  I’m not gonna keep bitching about it though.  At this point, I just wanna keep my job until after the wedding.  After that, I don’t care what happens.

I suppose.  I’d better get logged on so that it at least looks like I’m working.  =)
