Wedding Changes

Not sure if I mentioned that we picked out some different bridesmaid dresses than the one that I picked previously.  Go here to see the first choice that we are no longer going with.  Although that dress is cute in the picture, it just wasn’t the same in person.  So now… this is the dress that the girls will wear instead.

It is made by the same designer as my wedding dress, therefore it will be in the same shade of wine red that my dress has on it.  It will look very nice indeed.  I’ve also changed my mind about the self made bridesmaid bouquets seen here.  I have actually found a lady on Ebay who is able to make beautiful crystal bouquets such as the one that I want for much less than I previously found. 

So I will have a larger crystal bouquet for myself and then 5 matching smaller bridesmaid bouquets, plus 6 boutenniers for the guys to match.  All for around $260 which includes shipping and handling.  Didn’t think that was too bad.  But I’m still thinking about it.  Nothing set in stone quite yet as far as bouquets go.  She told me that it would only take her about 2-3 weeks for delivery of the order, so I feel that I have a little time to think about what I want to do.

And for my only other wedding update… my dad has now paid the deposit for the DJ for the wedding dance.  He is going to pay for the cost of the DJ so that’s one less thing that I need to worry about which is a good thing.  =)  All I need to do is send in the paperwork to the DJ so that he knows what type of entertainment we want.
