Not Bad for a Monday

So today has not been bad at all if I do say so myself.  Especially considering that I got hardly ANY sleep last night thanks to Mr. Jacob.  He has decided that since he doesn’t have to go to work until one or so in the afternoon most days, to go ahead and stay up until all hours of the night playing the most retarding mindless stupid (did I say retarded) game ever made.  He is completely addicted to this stupid game called Starcraft.

I myself do not see the point to the game as he just does the same thing over and over every time he plays it.  IT IS SO DUMB!!!  And he let’s this damn game run his life!!!  If I let him, he would play this game every single spare second that he had.  BUT I don’t let him use the computer every spare second that he has because I like to be able to get on the computer and use it too.  Sometimes it can be a battle to see who will get to use the computer the most.  But considering that I do HAVE to get up and be at work at a decent time in the morning, I usually get the computer first, and then he stays up ALL friggin night playing the STUPID game.  (Can you tell that I HATE this game?)

So anywho…  I’m seriously hoping and praying that I will be getting my tickets to home and visit at the end of this week.  The plan is to go home to Nebraska from the 30th of June until July 10th.  Should be a nice little vacation away from work.  =)  I’m so excited too!!  I will finally get to see Andrea after a year and a half.  I can’t believe that it has been that long since I last saw her!!!  She is graduating for cosmetology school on the 1st of July too, so she was happy to find out that I would be back for that.  I’m looking forward to it.  I’m envisioning a couple of wonderful days of getting highly intoxicated (possibly high if Jacob will let me), and just having a hell of a lot of fun!!!  Brings a smile to my face just thinking about it.  =)  <<—See  LOL

The plans are to fly into Omaha on Thursday the 30th.  Andrea said she would pick us up.  Then we will be spending a couple of days in Lincoln.  I’m super excited for that because I absolutely LOVE Lincoln!!!  Then on Sunday the 3rd, my mom will be coming down to Lincoln to pick up Jacob and me.  We’ll then go back up north to visit the rest of my family.  Probably go see Jacob’s brother and his family as well.  Jacob is really eager to go back to the races again since Seth got a new race car again, so I suppose we will HAVE to do that.  Especially considering that he bascially MADE me promise that we would go.  LOL  He’s such a butt!!!  But he’s MY butt!!!  And I love him!!!  =)

There are so many people that I want to see when I’m back home though.  I don’t even know if I will have enough time to see everyone.  BUT I will be letting everyone know that I am back, and if they REALLY want to see us they can make plans so that we can meet up.  =)

Oh yeah… I talked to Becca again this weekend.  I hadn’t talked to her since January, and since then she has also moved down to Lincoln and is living with Mike now.  They are getting married next June, so I’m happy for them.  We talked for about an hour and a half the other day about weddings and such.  I told her that Jacob and I are getting married next summer as well.  I also told Andrea, but I didn’t really get the chance to go into detail with her cuz when I called she was busy, and then when she called me back she ended up having to get off the phone as well.

I’ll probably give her a call later and talk more to her about it.  I talked to Jacob this morning about possibly telling our families a little bit sooner than when we go out to visit.  I thought that it would be less pressure for him than having to tell them in person, plus then when we go out there, maybe I can possibly talk some of my family into helping out with some of the planning.  We decided that we are going to get married back home in Nebraska since I have a bigger a family and more people from my side of the family would probably end up going anyway.  We also decided on asking my Papa to marry us.  It will make things much easier if he can marry us since neither of us “belongs” to a church, and it would be a bit hard to do the required counseling since we are all the way in California and we want the wedding to be in Nebraska.

We also talked about having an outdoor wedding.  =)  I think that would be really cool!!!  I’m not exactly sure where we would have it, but I’m sure that we can figure something out.  We still haven’t set a date, but I’m thinking that I want it to be on July 8th.  Guess we’ll have to see though.  I was telling Jacob, that considering how fast this last year together went, that we really need to start planning now because this next year is going to be up before we know it.  So I’m going to be posting more and more plans for the wedding over the next few days, weeks, and months.

So… I suppose… I’m gonna go ahead and pack up the laptop and head on home.  I’ve been done working for about 30-40 minutes now, and my boss left hella early today, so he probably won’t even know.  Not that he would really care anyway.
