Keep your fingers crossed!

I got a call at 930 this morning from one of the schools I sent my resume too. She wanted to know if I was available for an interview!!! She asked if I was available “on the fly” and it just so happens that today and tomorrow are my day off! So we set the appointment for 1 today! (The principal’s name is the same as my mom’s name first and last (maiden)!!!) So anyhow…I go to the interview and try my best to appear confident and competant…and at the end she says, “you know I think things are meant to happen. I had an interview set up today with a man from out of town, and he emailed me to tell me that he couldn’t make it yesterday and then this morning your resume envelope is on the top of my mail file. I open it up and you have the experience (first grade) for the grade level we are hiring in. You were immediately available, and my name is a familiar name to you…I plan to have this all settled by tomorrow afternoon. I will give you a call and let you know.”   That totally makes me feel like I have the job. I am not trying to count my blessings, but it would be nice…so if you could cross your fingers for me, pray for me, or send good vibes my way that would be great!!!!
