yesterday…

Was my first day as an employee for the Discovery Channel…my head hurt so bad when I got home I thought I was going to throw up. Too much info in such a short time. I don’t know how they plan to train me in just 5 days (4 technically because 1 is done with). I’ve never seen any management program last only 5 days…we’ll see though…There’s lots of products, but I only have to really know the details of about 25 of them…There isn’t any test or anything…There are all sorts of binders around the place, so if I get in a jam I’m sure I could figure it out…Ahhh well…it’s retail…what do you expect…

I just refiled my application with Loudoun County Public Schools…Hopefully it will put me at the top of the pile and I’ll get some calls for a job…I really hope I get a teaching job for next year. I might get discouraged if I don’t. I mean I went to school for 7 years (for a 4 year degree, I had to take my time in the beginning). What the hell did I get a teaching degree and certificate for if I don’t get to use it? I mean what if I forget all the stuff I learn by then? I’m such a worry wort.
