I go the job!!!

Officially! They called me yesterday. I start on Monday which is good because my weekend is all jacked up! I go to the airport today to pick up my hubby, tomorrow is Harry Potter day (that’s right, I’m a Harry Potter geek and PROUD!), Saturday is the walk for the cure (cancer thing I signed up to do. Hubby is a survivor after all) and Sunday is yet to be planned, but as I probably won’t have a Sunday off all summer, I’ll enjoy it…probably mowing my inlaws lawn…So any how…I am the assisstant manager of the Discovery Channel Store at Dulles Town Center. I get paid $9.50 an hour to start and all the benefits eventually kick between now and six months from now (hopefully I’ll be teaching then and won’t have to worry about it). I am excited about it. I like the store and all the neato toys they have. Training is only a week long and out in Maryland. It only takes about an hour to get there…on a good day with no traffic. So Monday I have to be there at 8 a.m. and I will be leaving here at 6 just in case. I’ll take a book with me to read in the car while I wait for the store to open. It will give me a chance to catch up with the kid I’m tutoring on the book we’re reading to improve his skills. Okay, this is long. One last woo hoo and I’m outta here to do laundry. WOO HOO!!!
