unofficially…I have the job…

I should have wrote this yesterday, but for some reason it didn’t occur to me. The Discovery Channel Store called and unofficially offered me the job. They were waiting to see if my background check would get done by 5 on Friday, and since it didn’t she thought she would call me to let me know that she is going to offer me the job, but not officially until she gets my background check finished. So I am unofficially an assisstant manager, unofficially employed, and waiting until Tuesday or Wednesday for the offical word. Yay…I’m glad I don’t really have to look for work anymore. I do still have a plan B just in case. If this should fall through, I will swallow my pride and go back to Outback and get a job. I know I promised myself that I would never work in food again, but I need a job. So that’s that. This time next week hopefully I will be a working girl!

Oh….and Pat left today. He’s on his way to Phoenix to train and do his time. I miss him already. What am I supposed to do now? Sigh…I’m bored with out my best friend…anybody wanna come over and play board games or watch movies or something?
