Christchurch Airport.

We’re waiting at the airport for our 3rd flight since we left home. Each flight has been delayed, and the one to Nelson has been set back two hours, so we won’t arrive until 9.30pm.
I messaged my friend Ang on Facebook to let her know what was happening. What did we ever do before instant messaging? It’s been a long day and we will be glad to finally get to Nelson.
When we flew out yesterday, 3 airlines had problems. All their check ins were down, and there were huge backlogs at all major airports. We were lucky that we were staying the night with Melissa and had no connecting flights to catch. I don’t know how other people fared. There must have been heaps of frazzled passengers.
We flew Emirates from Sydney and it was a great flight with plenty of room in the seats. And plenty of leg room for us. A great airline.
Ok that’s it for now. I just hope our delayed flight has no further delays!
