Off to New Zealand!

We’re leaving in the morning about 11am. A friend is driving us to the airport as we don’t want to leave the car there for 2 weeks. It’s only a small regional airport and I don’t trust the car to be there when we get back! We’re also being picked up by the same friend, as the airport is 60kms away.
We get into Sydney about 3pm and spend the night at Melissa’s before leaving Sunday morning for Nelson, New Zealand, which is in the South Island.
I’ve had to pack all sorts of clothes as the weather there is cool and raining. However I’m sure we’ll have a great time.
A house sitter is coming to look after the house and the dogs. We used her last year when we went to Canada and Africa. She left the house last year in a spotless condition. The whole house was sparkling when we got home. She spends her time going all over Australia looking after houses, living rent free.
We get back to Sydney on the 21st and spend 2 days with Melissa, then fly home on the 23rd.
So only a short entry. I’m so tired after all the packing and am off to have an early night, watching a dvd on the bedroom tv. I’ll probably fall asleep watching it.
