Sletten is a funny brand name

It’s odd to have heard about the whole change in the Audrey Seiler case from a completely smashed girl at a party.

::shrugs::  Hey, she was telling the truth.  That’s rare from a drunk person.  🙂

But the whole thing bothers me – although, in a way, it gives me a connection to her (since she was most likely emotionally distraught by SOMEthing).  I still think it’s a horrible thing that she did, but it doesn’t sound like she’s acting too rationally right now.

And I can identify with that.

Enough about that, though – I would like to talk about the newest member of my family.

At 7 PM on April 2nd, 2004, Conchita, Jr. came into this world.  She is a beautiful 8″ long tattoo of black stems, green and yellow leaves, yellow roses, and a black Chinese symbol that means “rose.”  She is my pride and joy and I love her dearly.

::giggles::

Seriously, I’m really thrilled about the tattoo – it didn’t cost nearly as much as I thought it would, nor did it take as long to apply as I’d previously figured.  It DID hurt like a bitch (and I don’t just mean an ordinary bitch, I mean a PMS-y, chocolate-deprived, single, bitter bitch!) and I don’t think that I will ever get another one, but this one was worth it.  It’s a design I love and something I’ve wanted to do for a really long time.  It turned out beautifully (the redness is already almost completely gone and taking care of it is very simple) and is one of those little checkmarks I can make on my list of “Things To Do” in life.
