Long, GOOD weekend.

I spent Friday night with Ashley, Joz, Katie, Val, Linds, Em and Ben. Eric, Jill, Matt and others circulated in and out throughout the football game. It was interesting to see how people had changed (Lauren, wow!) and how so many were exactly alike. I really miss everyone now, but I’m glad I got to see them. The movie afterwards was AMAZING. I am definitely going to see it again.

Saturday was spent with my parents and my cats, which made for a very relaxing day. I came back up to school around 8:30 and had a few hours of alone time. Mitch got back around 12:30 and we hung out for a while. At one point, when we went back to his room, his floor neighbors were pretty drunk. One of the guys went so far as to push me up against the wall. He was just having fun and being playful, but he’s a BIG guy and he happened to run the boniest part of my arm into the brick). There’s not really a bruise there or anything, but it’s sore. I just avoided him after that. After finding Mike asleep in his bed, fully clothed, and another guy sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag, I was ready for bed.

Today has felt very short because I woke up at 2, feeling very shitty and harboring the beginnings of a cold, which has now become a full fledged one. I went to the SERF for an hour and pushed myself really hard on the bike, the rowing machine and in the weight room. I feel buff. 🙂 It’s fun. Mitch, Paul, Emily and I went to Ed’s for ice cream, then Mitch came over to watch T.V. with Em and me. My parents and brother took Mitch and me out to dinner (Chi-Chi’s!), which was a lot of fun. We got back around 8, and I putzed around for a bit until the “Adult Swim” gang showed up, and at 11:30, the last guests left.

So now it’s bedtime, in preparation for a long Monday – class from 11 until 3:15 and choir from 7:30 to 9:30. There’s a formal dance on Saturday that I THINK Mitch and I are going to and hockey starts on Friday. I have to take my notes to the McBurney Center, write a Journalism paper and a Spanish paper, start my African paper and study for and take a Zoology midterm.

I know I’ll survive…but just barely! 🙂
