Good weekend. I just now have time to remember it all.

Saturday was a lazy sleep-in day, then lunch with Mitch. He went sailing with his mom and I went shopping. I got a really cute UW sweatshirt. Then Mike made margaritas for a bunch of us (YUM!), and then we all trekked over to College Park for a random party. Mitch and I ended up going to McDonald’s in the middle of it to get some oh-so-nutritious burgers and fries, and were complete dorks. Always fun. We went back for a few minutes, but it was $5 a cup and we didn’t want to pay, so we just went back to his room and hung around.

The next morning was brunch with Mitch, laundry, homework (a LOT of homework), dinner with Mitch, more homework, then “swimming with the adults” (that’s what we call watching Adult Swim). Paul let out a GREAT burp, and he had a really cool container of goldfish. Christine shared her story about drunk Noah and Jane told us (via IM) that Marissa had her baby. Yay! I got a card today and I’m going to send it tomorrow. Jane is going to go with me to see her when I’m home for Homecoming. That’ll be a busy weekend.

Today was African, Journalism, Zoo, and Spanish. Sara, Courtney, Anne, Caitlin and I are working together on the Spanish cooking project. Sunday night, we’re all getting together to bake angel wings in the Sellery kitchen. That’ll be an adventure! Christen really liked my paper for Journalism, which was awesome. I only had to rewrite a little bit of it. I wrote my cover letter, too, so I’m all done with that. All of my homework is done, except for some simple Spanish stuff, which I’ll do tomorrow before my Zoo discussion and Spanish class. I’m going to the SERF tomorrow, too, which I’ve come to enjoy. Tomorrow should be a good day.

Despite everything I’m involved with, all the homework and parties and classes and lunches and ice cream breaks, I can most definitely say this about college –

IT’S THE LONLIEST PLACE IN THE WORLD
