Singular Mary

That’s the name of one of the women in my choir. It was an amusing night. 🙂

It’s a student AND community group, so a lot of the people are older. Well, most of them actually. There are a lot of inside jokes and there’s just a general feeling of happiness in the air. I sit next to a really sweet sophomore named Jen and two older women, Joanna and Janet. We are, as Janet said, the “J-Ghetto.” 🙂 Very funny! I talked to a girl named Kristen who’s been in the choir for 9 years!! She was reading a book called The World According to Garp and it looked interesting, so I struck up a conversation with her. I’m proud of myself for not being a weenie about meeting new people. 🙂 In the soprano section, there’s a girl, I don’t know her name, but she reminds me SO much )physically) of Sarah, Shane’s Sarah. It’s kind of kooky.

I need to get to bed early so I can meet Mitch for breakfast in the morning before his 7:45 and my having to have a needle stuck in my arm for several hours. Yay! 🙂

Ciao!
