The boob episode
Mmmm…I’m happy right now. I’m living in the moment and, at this moment, I’m happy. Relaxed and content and smiling (a small one, mind you, because it’s 3:30 a.m. and I AM tired, but I’m still smiling) and secure and feeling pretty and smart and confident.
The football game was last night. Jen, Jen, Alexis, Jason and I had a lot of fun. The drunk guy with the Mickey was funny. The ride up there was scary and funny. The ride back was more subdued, but still fun. 5th Quarter was just nuts – doing the polka on bleachers is hard! I liked “Jump Around” and the TD dance (also hard things to do on bleachers!).
Being a “single girl” for the night made me feel even more secure. Little by little, things happen that remind me that I’m quite capable of being my own person.
And it makes being with you even better. I don’t feel any pressure, any intense longing when you’re not around (I miss you, of course, but…you know what I mean!). But tonight, the simple, basic night that it was, was awesome. Who would have thought that hanging out with your parents and watching a movie could be so much fun?
::winks:: Especially when your mom’s been into the wine and your dad is drinking “ice water” and telling you not to drink popcorn. And when we get to eat some of the popcorn and drink out of Martha Stewart glasses (you have to admit, though, that getting the ice was VERY anti-Martha Stewart!) and steal licorice and pet Oscar, I’m happy. I love nights like that. I hope you do, too.
And if you don’t, well…::sticks out tongue::
Mitch and I spent two hours at Aaron’s tonight, just hanging out and watching T.V. The stand-up comedy was great, as well as making fun of the rap videos (that was ironic!). Aaron looks like a leper! 🙂 Not really, but it’s kind of funny. We compared peeling sunburns. I ate Reese’s cereal. It was a great time.
I love “Family Ties”
🙂
Later, y’all. It’s way too late and tomorrow’s a busy day.

:o) Why is tomorrow a busy day….when exactly are you leavin?
