I don’t have a problem with drinking, even under-age drinking. I really don’t. I’ve had a few drinks myself.
BUT WHEN PEOPLE DRINK AND DRIVE, THEN I GET REALLY PISSED.
Use your fucking heads, people. That’s just so incredibly dumb. If you wonder why I get so mad, just ask me to tell you the story about my mom’s friend.
When you choose to drink and then drive, I stop worrying about YOU and start worrying about the other people, the innocent ones who didn’t do a damned thing. “Oh, but I’d only had a few, I was okay, just a little dizzy.” That’s the most piss poor excuse in the entire world. Do whatever the fuck you want with YOUR life and YOUR body, but when you run the risk of endangering other people, that’s when you have to be smart.
Grr. I want to punch the wall right now. Hearing about that party just made me so angry…
maybe you should tell them that it bothers you instead of posting a message for everyone to read… granted, drinking and driving is not good. but you could at least have made it a general message instead of being aimed at a specific person. keep in mind this person’s character and how well they know whether or not they are okay… because you don’t know all the facts. -stephanie
