Boyer has more arm/hand injuries…
Marching was…interesting this morning. Row 5 has NO clue what we’re doing. I feel bad and even a bit ashamed because Rush casually-inadvertantly put me “in charge” of the row. But I don’t know what I’m doing! And I feel like I let him down. He’s been very nice to me lately. And…aih. More about that later.
We “played” in the library during first hour. Naomi wasn’t there for the project…at home with a kidney infection! 🙁 Get better! We missed you. But we got a good portion of the project done (after “breaking” the computer). I watched Newey freak out about the Netscape Navigator. And while standing at the printer (“Oh, they reboot all the time. You never know which one your paper is going to come out of!”), I listened to the guys at the table behind me talk. One of them wanted my number. 🙂 As corny as that is, it was cute. It’s been a long time since I’ve been “hit on” (for obvious reasons!), and it was just…well, fun. 🙂 Such silly things in my life.
Only one thing to say about AP English – EVERY SYMBOL IN THE INVISIBLE MAN REPRESENTS WHITE MAN’S OPPRESSION OF THE BLACK MAN!! Nothing else! My goodness, a little variety, please!
I tried playing in 3rd hour, but…no. Hurt too much. We had a Band Day “meeting,” and he read off this HUGE list of rules/restrictions/changes. God, it’s going to be kind of sucky. Oh well. It was during this meeting that I got the name Chipmunk Cheeks/Charlie Chipmunk. Thank you, Ben/Rush. 🙂
During 4th hour, Matt and I sat down with the conductor’s version of “Mr. Roboto” and the marching moves and we figured out the WHOLE DAMN THING for Row 5! 🙂 Thanks, Matt! You rock! I know every single one of my moves, so I can judge everyone else’s off of that. Our usual group bummed around at the table with the tape recorder. We have a REALLY awesome sound clip of Jeff going, “Poopy! Poopy!” Then you hear Bryan hit the door with his hand (but it sounds like a gunshot) and then he says, “Ow” as Jeff says, “Poopy!” again. Craziness…
You know what I miss? How after playing in band, when we had free time, we’d all crowd around/on the two lunch tables. Now it’s back in the corner and no one does that during class. It makes me really, really sad.
Officer meeting at lunch. *makes the tense noise* Whatever. Good food. And funny moment – Andrew flushing the huge bucket of sauce down the toilet! 🙂
Genetics. Man. Those three girls…ooh, they just push all my “incorrect” buttons. So odd – they were really, really into the seminar and very smart and opininated, but before/after that, nada. No brains at all. Makes me mad. Got a highish B on the pedigree test. Eh. No biggie.
6th hour was interuppted by my *final* counselor appointment! Yes! And I walked back to the small aud to hear the group singing, “The Star Spangled Banner.” It sounded SO good. And ended with some “Blood Brothers.” 🙂 Rock my world.
AP Psych was a video and a Powerpoint presentation. Mr. Ward loves his Powerpoint. He might bring in his son soon. How cool! Lex “smothered” the fetus. It was random…
I went to the Level One clarinet meeting. It turned out to be an actual lesson! Crap. I had to go to the doctor’s at 3:45, so I just told Rush that. It was okay, actually, because the new teacher was going to have us play, and I can’t. But I HAD to schedule a lesson for October 2nd at 4:15. I don’t have enough time for things! God. I wanted the 5 slot, but Ashley took it because of swim. How the hell am I going to do this?! I don’t think I can actually be IN “Harvey.” I think I’m just going to have to do tech or something. It’s just NOT possible. And I can’t even do A.D. because I’d STILL have to be there. And I have to call Judy and tell her I’m not taking lessons with her anymore. That’ll be hard. But I have a lesson at 4:15 till 5 on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 31st. Or maybe only four of those weeks. The 23rd and 31st are okay, the show’s over by then. And the 16th will probably be okay, because DRs don’t start until later in the afternoon. So I really only have to worry about the 2nd and 9th. Plus, by the time “Harvey” is in full swing, swim will be over and I might be able to switch times with Ash. This new teacher thing just came on so suddenly!
I really miss having a tech crew…having tons and tons of people wandering around backstage and hanging out. I MISS THAT!
Got the doubles. 🙂 Yayness. Went back for the last hour of practice. Voice till 6. Homework, dinner, then Mitch came over. Good evening.
Oh, and Steph and I have decided to graduate tomorrow. Yeah. That’s it. 🙂
I love you, chicky. We had you first, remember that. ALWAYS. You’re my “Wagon Wheels”-Salzman-music-drama chick and you ALWAYS will be. Don’t ever doubt that.
Don’t fight the insanity. Welcome it with open arms. They will treat you much more nicely in the institutions then. When there is no time for everything, multitask. If you are like me, and suck at it, just fall asleep someplace until it’s all over. :o)

As ever was, ever will. To ends to meet…for silence to come. Or not? Perhaps more. Speech not to be read, perchance? Should inferiis ordunatum come to know truth? Or is truth merely shards of shattered mirrors? Ah…simply choice, and simply yours to choose. However….t’would be enjoyed, I believe. 😉
