Golf clubs

Mmm, don’t feel much like writing, but I will anyway.

Marching wasn’t really THAT bad. It was really cold, yeah, but I survived. And it was kind of crazy to watch the entire band flip the CHS around. I go kind of brain dead on the field, I don’t know why. I was in a crabby mood, though. But my “tuba buddies” always cheer me up. As soon as I’m goofing around with them, it’s cool.

Spanish test was NOT hard at all, except that I’d forgotten the synonym for “sigue adelante.” In English, it’s “to continue on,” but the synonym isn’t a direct translation.

We had a sub in AP English. Group Two did their vocab (THAT resulted in some *ahem* raising of voices) and then we had a read day. Got a bit done in 1984 and then talked to Cole, Harry, Ben, and Jesse. I wrote on Harry’s paper. How could I NOT make fun of the 6.75 pound thing?! 🙂 C’mon…

Had THE coolest feeling in band. Everyone was playing “Late in the Evening” and I was just sitting there, listening. Endless mind pictures and a general feeling of “goodness” ran through me for the whole hour.

Band aux was its usual low-ley (not quiet!) fun. Some good quotes from that. Oh, and we decided on Jeff Goldblum, Tom Hanks, and Sean Connery.

Lunch to Subway. Got VEP Pink Lemonade. *note: they sell Sioux City pop here!* Except for the bee in the car, nothing exciting happened. Oh, except for Coop nearly taking Sean out with the car door. 🙂 Awesome.

Genetics was a cool video…we had a sub. I took my usual bathroom journey. *waves finger in the air* Exciting!

Normal 6th hour…I made a family tree. 🙂 Really part of choir, eh? Shush!

7th hour was fun. Got grades (I got 20/20 on the essay!), and I’m getting a middlish A overall. Solid. Then we played “I like my neighbor who…” You say that and then you say something like “…is wearing blue jeans.” But you had to say something true about yourself. Then all the people who it applied to stood up and went to another desk. You had to find a desk, too. And you couldn’t sit in the one you’d just gotten up out of. It started out really broad, then got broken down into who had been in this or that class, who’d had Salzman (nice, Jenny!), who’d gone to Monroe, band, vacations, all kinds of fun stuff. Keegan was nuts, diving all over and lunging for desks. Paul was like that, too, it was adorable.

We tried playing the game in practice, but without chairs, it sucked. So we tried to start, but after getting completely bitched out by two people, the entire practice just sucked serious ass. I did my four fucking lines and then went and sat out back and watched soccer. Fuck drama. It makes me more and more frustrated every day. And nothing makes it better. Man…listen to me. I really DO need medication…

After that, came home, then went out to look for Blue Peeps for Val. No luck!!!

Drove to Milton…just because. Was looking for Rush Hill, but I CANNOT remember how to get there. Just cruised around for a bit. Milton has gorgeous sunsets. Froze my fingers off just so I could have the windows open. 🙂 Mmm, lovely. I need a road trip! Aih!

Now time for psych and genetics and clarinet and vocal stuff. Lovely! 🙂

We did “Late In The Evening” in drum corps the last year I marched…a cute song, but nothing special…except for sometimes everything is just right. :o)

“Why are there golf clubs coming out of the toilet?” 🙂 I love 4th hour…
