Question
Why do people see suicide as selfish?
I don’t want to hear all the reasons you may think it is. Because as much sense as they can make now, when you’re standing with the gun to your head, the knife to your arm, the pills to your mouth, when you’re standing on the roof, ready to jump, they don’t matter one god damn bit.
And until you’ve tried, don’t fucking pretend to know how it is. Pretension about suicide is selfish.
You claim to know how it feels to reach the end of a quickly unraveling rope. To see a shade of black that no one should ever have to see. To look at everything for the last time and hope you don’t mess up your attempt.
But until you’ve started to take those god damn pills that your parents “hid” so well in the back of the cabinet, don’t fucking pretend to know how it is.
That’s just fucking selfish.
