We’re up and we’re back down again

lilypie first birthday tickers

The good news first. After much debate, thought, and prayer I decided that if I were offered that job, I would accept it.  They called me Wednesday and offered me the position.  I accepted. I go in Tuesday for a pre-employment meeting.   They have to do a background check and a drug test. I will start training on December 10. I have to work there for six months before I can get a promotion. So that leads to the bad news. We told hubby’s uncle about it and asked about staying here until that happens. He said that he wants us to look into staying with our parents. I called mine and we can stay there but we will be in the smaller room :(. I posted in my parenting group about this and a lady on there may have the hook up on a house for cheap rent. She called the owners and they seemed interested. So now I have to wait for them to call back. If that doesn’t work out we will move into my parents’ house Thanksgiving weekend.  Wherever we move I want to be settled before my job starts.

I suppose that’s all I have. Can it be 2013 now?

Sooo hope the house works out for you…Even if it doesn’t, you can do anything for 6 months. Hang in there, sending good thoughts your way!

Awesome on the job! And you’re lucky to have parents who will still help you out

Congrats on the job! You definitely deserve it! I hope that the housing situation settles quickly and is favorable for you and your girls. Ashley

I’ll keep you guys in my thoughts – and try not to focus too hard on the right now…everything will work out in the end.

ryn: I think so. She said we had a sweet family. I’m not sure if she has kids (my instinct is no), but she laughed at my answer to “How do you feel about children?” What a weird and awkward question for someone hoping to adopt a child, lol.
