Six Months
Today I have been married for six months. I can hardly believe it really. We have gone through SO much in such a short time. We have lived a lifetime in six short months.
I still miss writing here. Our computers don’t get signal in the basement so if I want to write I have to bring the laptop upstairs. I usually have the baby in my arms too so it’s a pain to go up and down. I am writing this from my phone and it is not easy. Not to mention I just took a break to get the baby to sleep. Also my OD+ is expired.
No jobs yet. I got a voicemail last week and called back. We are playing phone tag. Problem is that it only pays $10/hr and after you factor in childcare it isn’t worth it. I need to make at least $14 an hour. So I keep searching.
We are taking Anna to get portraits done in her Halloween costume. I can’t wait.
Thats all I can do on the phone for now.

Good to hear from you again. 🙂 Happy 6 month ‘Anniversary!’ I hope the next six months go smoother and better than the first for you guys. *hugs* P.S. Don’t feel too bad about not having OD+. I don’t right now either … I’ve tried giving out gift subs in AND renewing my own OD+ and neither have recieved them! I got charged for both, but never recieved either. :-/

That’s the primary reason I haven’t searched hard for a job – the cost of childcare just doesn’t make it worth it.

RYN: I agree with you! This Dr. was allegedly one of the “best” in the area. It took us 4 months on a waiting list just for a consultation to see if he’d take us on (pre-pregnancy). He came highly recommended and highly regarded. However, I’m not impressed. I’m thinking I might be shopping for a new one, but it’s hard to come by in our area (most of the good ones don’t accept “new” patients)>>

Pretty much you have to find one MONTHS BEFORE the baby is born or you’re screwed…I thought I did a good job with my research, etc…But maybe not. I don’t think she is quite ready for the solids (tried again today and she wasn’t thrilled) and I don’t think she needs a helmet even though her head IS slightly mishapen in the back. I just don’t know what to do because I feel so awful.

Happy 6 month anniversary! I know it hasn’t been easy, but I suppose that just means you’ll make it through anything. Ashley

I never write anymore. I miss it, but I just can’t find the time. Hoping the best for you in terms of a job.
