Survived the semester

 In the last two days I have: met with the professor who’s class I’m taking an incomplete in and made a timeline to finish the course, taken my biostats final, emailed two contacts about my developing dissertation ideas, completed my annual report, filled out my course registration form, made my to-do list for the next month at work/school, and purchased tickets for my high school reunion. It’s going to be a good summer. 

Also, as mentioned previously, I’m still trying to sort out what to wear for said highschool reunion. I finally got around to taking photos of the possible dresses, if anyone wants to vote on a favorite (And ignore my "it’s been a long semester" hair and face in these). 

Dresscode description is as follows: "So it sounds like there is a question about what to wear. Well the quick answer to that is to wear clothes! Ha ha. Seriously, no streaking is necessary. 

I could make the attempt to say dress nice like you’re going on a first date looking to impress, but then some of you would attempt to pull out the Daisy Dukes from Senior year and Im not sure thats what we’re looking for either lol. 

Personally I think business casual is fine. It doesn’t have to be suit and tie, but that is certainly possible if you want.
Just come dressed nice and make your Momma proud to know you. :)"

Event location is at an urban winery tasting room, if that makes a difference. (Please note how weird this is- I went to a rural high school in the middle of nowhere)

Now that I look through the photos, I’m realizing that option 1 isn’t as "grownup"/"sophisticated" as some of the others. Interesting. And I have good taste, and a pretty great figure in spite of everything, and really, I don’t think I can go wrong. And regardless of what I look like, it will be good to see people. And now, as your reward for getting through all of that: Kitten pictures!

This is us just a couple hours after my colonoscopy, and finding out I was/am still sick.I love how he looks after me. And here he is in the middle of grooming….he hasn’t turned his ear right side out again yet. Such sweetness!
