The Guess Who and a Note from Bob

It’s late (for me anyway). 11:42pm. Diane and I just got back from a Guess Who concert. It was outdoors under a tent in downtown Lorain – right where the Black River joins Lake Erie. Beautiful location and nice concert. Very few people there so we were right up near the stage. I was very impressed with the quality of their performance. They played a couple of new songs that I was really impressed with. Diane had a great time. She was dancing around and clapping her hands. A glimmer of her old self. Makes me remember why I fell for her in the first place.

Justin’s friends were the warm up band. Quite an honor to open for the Guess Who. Unfortunately we missed them. We arrived at 9:00 just in time to see the main show.

Justin called earlier tonight and told me that he got the RA positiion! He was really excited and so am I. The dorm he’ll be in will be Barrett. It’s one of his top picks. On site weight room and air conditioned unlike his current dorm.

The other good news is that I got an e-mail from my good friend Bob. He and Fran have been working through some issues and they’ve needed some space. He sent me a quick note and said he would call later. I replied and told him I’m looking forward to hearing from him. Whatever happens between he and Fran, I still want to maintain my friendship with both of them.

On the down side – I found a crack in the windshield of the Alero so I’ll need to get that replaced. Then the headlight on the Taurus went out. Lastly, I noticed that the bathroom window is coming apart and will probably need to be replaced.  – They say things happen in threes.  I hope I counted right.
