Updatey Goodness!!

Danny is home right now so I’ve hijacked his computer to be able to write a little something!

Everything is going well right now. We closed and moved into our house on February 12. It’s been so nice living here! My drive to work is about 20 minutes shorter, which rocks! And it’s just nice knowing that all of this is ours! But I have been soooooo tired that not much organizing has gotten done. I put the kitchen stuff away, but that’s about it. With Danny being home more has gotten done. Yesterday we reorganized the living room. He’s having some buddies over tonite. They’re moving the music equipment over into the basement. We’ll probably grill some hamburgers. Fun times!

Had another appointment on Feb. 27. Just a check up appt. The doc tried to get the heartbeat with the doppler but no luck. She said it’s ok because he was probably just the size of my thumb so he had plenty of room to hide. But I’m not so sure I’m comfortable with that. Then I noticed something when I took my paperwork up front. At the bottom of the page it said something about size discrepancy. I need to call and ask about that. The doc didn’t say anything about it when I was in with her. But all my bloodwork came back fine. She wants to check for GD a little sooner since it is rather dominant in my family. I’ve been trying to be a good girl and not over-indulge in the sweets. I think I’ve been doin g pretty well! But I did gain 3 lbs. in a month! Not fair! Here’s to hoping that slacks of a little bit, eh? I can not gain 100lbs. with this pregnancy!!! LoL Mt next check up is March 27, we should definitely hear the HB then, I’ll be at 16 weeks!

My computer. RIP Well, I think it may just need a new hard drive. I was here in the new house. With no cable, and no internet… boring!!! I finally got my DSL modem and hooked the internet up. I was on OD for maybe 10 minutes, reading my faves. Then came the blue screen of death. I knew this was coming. I had been fighting it off since vacation. It finally conquered. All that comes up now when I turn my computer on is "no bootable devices on hard drive", or something like that. It sickened me when it happened. But now I’ve found out that I can at least read faves on my phone. And sometimts it will let me leave a note or write a headline. Maybe when we get the deposit back from the apartment I’ll pick up a cheapie desktop or something. Walmart has an E-machine with Windows XP for $398. Can’t really go wrong there! It’s better than the $1100 Dell paperweight I currently have…

Danny was supposed to be home until August, then he was supposed to go to NC. Then he found out last week he’d be going to NY on the 25th of March. Then yesterday they’ve asked him to go to Secaucus, NJ on Monday. And somewhere in there, NC got changed to NY also. It sucks, but it is his job. It’s very good money, and every little bit helps right now. He’ll be back before I know it!

He did tell them he will be home April 27th… that’s when we should be finding out the gender of the little one!
