Weekend

I feel like such a blob… I’ve done nothing but sit on the couch and watch movies & sleep all weekend. It’s been great! LoL

My baby bought plane tickets to come down here next month! Yay! 16 more days & he’ll be here. He’s working in Detroit right now so he’s flying here from there. He got a pretty good price on tickets too. I can’t wait! We’re gonna go to the NHRA Gatornationals with my family when he’s here. Probably go to the beach, and to see some friends in Palm Coast too. We’re going out with my BFF & her OH too. It’s gonna be a busy weekend! I miss him so much, I can’t wait!

The end of June is getting closer too! I can’t wait to move! I’ll be going up in May to look for a house and see a realtor. I’m so excited to be even thinking of buying a house! It would never be a possibility here, homes are tooooooo expensive. And insurance is worse. It’s also scary buying a house right now, with all the foreclosures in the news. But we’re looking for an affordable home, something definitely in our league. I think that will be our saving grace…

Danny asked me a few weeks ago what I pictured my wedding to be like. I told him I’d be happy just going to the courthouse and getting married in front of a judge. It’s what my parents did, why not us? I just can’t imagine spending so much money on, essentially, a piece of paper. We have each other’s love, why do we need to go overboard, ya know? But he said he wants a wedding. He said he’s waited long enough to find me, he wants to do it right. It makes me think something’s wrong with me…. every little girl dreams of her wedding day, right? Why didn’t I? I guess I need to absorb myself into Wedding magazines and wedding shows & sites and get some ideas flowing!

This is going to be a very big year for me… for us!! It’s such a wonderful feeling, I can’t explain it!
