Hummels

When I was growing up in Ohio, I always remembering hearing about a place nearby. The Hummel Gift Sop. They sold collectibles and figurines, most notably the Hummel figurines. I remember seeing them as a girl, and even recently, and always being absolutely in love with them. But never having the money, or wanting to come off with the money, to collect any.

Philip is bringing me about 30 of them. Holy Shit! I’m so excited! His aunt had a rather extensive collection of them. His mother & other aunts wanted a few of them, and he let them go trough and take what they wanted. The rest he is bringing home. Yay! I’ll finally have little Hummels of my own!

They remind me of growing up. It’ll be so cool.
