Need sleep!

Friday Philip & I went to Crystal River for my dad to pick up a clutch cable for his motorcycle. Crystal River is close to Weeki Wachee, which is wjere his parents are at. So we met up with them and all went out to dinner. We were leaving the restaurant and were behind them getting ready to pull out onto the highway and Philip got a phone call. He started laying on the horn and got out of the car. He went up to talk to his parents, I didn’t know what in the world was going on. He got back in the car and told me what was up. His aunt Jane in Ohio was killed in a head on collision earlier that day.

Aunt Jane had just spoken to Philip that Tuesday about her will. She left everything to him. All but some IRA’s that go to his sister, Rhonda. Don’t go thinking about suicide or anything, she was a passenger in the car. They were hit head on by a pickup that probably blew a tire. Neither speed nor drugs were a factor. It was just an accident.

He had to go to his safe deposit box at the bank Monday morning. She had sent him a packet last year of information about her will & stuff. A copy of her will was there, a DNR order, a certified deed to her house with Philip’s name on it, the power of attorney for the woman who is the executor of the will. She had everything set up for him.

So today, I (we) woke up at 2:30 a.m. to take Philip & Rhonda to the airport. We left Ocala at 3 a.m. and I left them at the airport at 4:30 a.m. It is now 7:11 and his plane should be taking off at this very moment.

I got maybe 3 hours of sleep last nite. I am going to take a nap!
