Almost here!

The holiday is almost here. Then all the craziness will be done, and I will go back to my boring job and my boring life, sitting at home all the time. My assistant manager has informed me though, that there will be some changes to my job and that I may be in a position to lead the followers soon. I do think he is hinting towards a promotion! If not, I may be forced to choose another career path. I’m sick of not being recognized… but then again I do work for the largest company in the world, so naturally a few people will be overlooked.

Ok… so now I have FL insurance on my car. I have to notify my insurance carrier in PA that I will no longer need their services. I need to have insurance cards faxed to me so I can get my registration changed over. And, because my car was registered in this state before, they waive the first time registration fee which is $110!!! So it will only cost me about $80 for registration and stickers. I still have my old tags so I won’t have to pay for them either! Yay! Something is going right, finally.

I should be coming into some money in or around February or March. Income tax refunds and my company bonus check are due then. Income tax refund will probably be around $600… it always is! And the bonus check is anticipated to be over $1000!!! Oh yeah… I think I will have to do some traveling this summer coming up. Definitely!

There’s a new restaurant in Apopka. It’s a KFC/A&W combo. Yummy hot dogs and root beer floats in this little town, finally! So, that’s what I bought everyone for dinner tonite. Yum yummy!

Dad started laying the tile in my room today. It looks nice. But it’s grey and the walls are a grey-purple color. The 2 colors are too close in shade and the room looks all one color now. So, I’m going to have to paint it a different color. Any suggestions? I think I’ll start watching Trading Spaces religiously to come up with some decorating ideas. Next winter I’ll have the other half of the garage as well, so I’ll need to decorate that too! Yippee!

I’m getting eager to do something with my life. I can’t remain an hourly forever. I either want to continue in this field as something more, or change paths completely. I’ll give it another year, so I can save up some money in case I do end up changing paths. Back-up cash is always good when making major life changes.
