The last couple of weeks have been filled with lots and lots of wedding planning.  We’re finally starting to make some decisions.  Such as videographer, my dress, bridesmaid dresses (kind of), and even venue (we already decided that but had been contemplating a change).  And we’re well on our way to DJ, florist, and caterer.  It’s amazing what happens when you fire your wedding planner.

SO!  For bridesmaid dresses, here’s where we are…

So, a decision hasn’t been made here so much as options have been laid out.  David’s Bridal, clover green, chiffon.  Those are the decisions.  There are multiple styles that fall under those categories, and I’m open to whatever the girls like.  We may end up with one dress, or two, or even three.

And for my dress.  Remember the two options I wrote about last month?  I tried on a ton of dresses after finding those, but none of them compared.  At the end of the day, I just didn’t like the back of one option, so I could go through with it.  No matter how gorgeous the front was.

It made me feel like this:

And therefore, I went with this dress:

Now every time I see a big dress, I question the decision.  But every time I see a nice slim, sleek dress like this one, I’m happy.  Choosing a wedding dress is NOT easy!

I think that’s all I have for now.

That clover green is gorgeous! And so is the wedding dress. Great choices. 🙂

I think your dress is gorgeous! To be honest, I didn’t have that “feeling” about my dress until I actually tried it on after all of the fittings. I constantly worried about it, but I am so happy with my decision!

The rug is pretty but its too big for the room! I think I just want like a 3×5 for the center of the room. But I haven’t checked home depot in stores, just lowes, so I’ll look there thursday.

did i note this from the unmen? i don’t know. but i read it. i am in love with that color green! i also love when bridesmaids are matchy matchy AND when they’re all different- both bring so much to the pictures and the wedding. your dress is beautiful and i’m glad you chose it!

soon as we get on AJ’s insurance (week or two after the babys born) I’m just going to call leslie and tell her peace out. haha I’m not going back to put in my 2 weeks notice.

oh whats the reason for staying in ny for at least 3.5 more years?

re: there’s one in sandston that’s just for kids stuff. Its pretty cool, they took over an old dentist office and they have it set up where each room has a specific thing, like bouncy things/strollers, crib stuff, clothes, shoes, toys, etc. I had never been in one before today but it was pretty nice

re: they have me on the schedule opening or closing all next week so it would be AWESOME to go into labor sunday and screw the schedule all up (plus I don’t want to work anymore). But hopefully nothing happens until after I work saturday night b/c I need to put the fake roaches in Heather’s glasses case and mail them to her from work. hahaha

oh ps, why did you fire the wedding planner? and where were you thinking of changing the venue to?
