I met One Direction! =D

This afternoon I caught up with my friend Ry.  I only caught up with him like a week ago, but hey he’s a good friend and I decided to just randomly send him a text asking if he wanted to see a movie.

Turns out the timing was awesome, as he’d just finished work, so he commuted into the city and we met up and caught up and chatted for a while over food 🙂  We then decided where we were going to go, and what movie we were going to see.

I was surprised to find out that he actually wanted to see the movie that I was sure he wouldn’t want to see with me haha.  And especially given the fact he is an actor, we had to make sure no-one he knew was within the cinema or saw which movie he was going to see hahaha.

I’m talking about the "One Direction:  This Is Us" movie.  Yes.  *hangs head in shame*

I knew I wasn’t allowed to check him in, so I kinda tweaked in a little lol.

The movie wasn’t too bad.  My favourite Direction’er is clearly Zayn.  If I had to have a favourite.  Which I do.  I’m totally a 13 year old girl.

My friend was worried that the girls in the audience would all sing along, but they didn’t.  The cinema wasn’t all that packed at all, considering it was opening day of the movie.  We stupidly had to see it in 3D, as that was the only time before 9pm that it was on, but I knew it would be a waste of time.  3D movies are purely extra money grabbers.  There were a couple of cool effects though I guess.

When I was buying my Bieber tickets, I noticed that I was unable to buy One Direction tickets, anywhere.  It’s completely sold out around the country.  But after seeing the movie, I don’t think I really need to haha.  It pretty much was a concert, with a few stories here and there.  It had a good review that I’d heard that morning, and I’d say it was good but nothing overly special.  I spent most of the movie checking out Zayn and his package.  Of course.  Hard to think he’s the one who’s engaged!

Anyway, enough of me going on like a tweenage girl.  As we left the cinema, my friend snapped a snap of me hanging with the boys, who just happened to be outside the cinema after the movie.

They were looking really pale today.  Typical English and Irish.

Some girls who were taking photos before us were laughing at me 🙂
