Lovely day
So shrugging off the anger from the previous entry, I did have a pretty good day today.
I was freezing this morning. Luckily I’d had my heater on, so my room was nice and toasty. One of my new roomies came into my room randomly (he does that) and was like ‘gee it’s nice in here!’ cos it was so cold in the rest of the house. He was on his way to work, and I had to laugh as he stepped outside and I heard him say ‘Fuuuuuuuuck!’ as the cold air hit him. I remember hearing on the weather that it was gunna be 5 degrees today and tomorrow, the coldest winter mornings in four years or so. I’ll keep the heater on tonight as well then.
I did get up eventually, around 9:30am or so, had some breakfast and chatted to the landlord for a little while. He’d previously shown me and other housemate what to do if the water system decides to stop working – not that I really care lol. I’m just looking forward to not having to deal with him being bitchy toward me over the next few months because he won’t be here. It’ll be a testing time to see how I get along with the new housemates also, without him here. A and I get along fine, but B and I are just very different people I think. I’d say we ‘get along’ but only because we don’t not get along.
I went to the gym around 11:30am. I walked there and it was a lovely day outside by that time – just wore a shirt and shorts there. I had a really good workout and the personal trainer who was there was nice to me, greeting me on the way in and also on the way out. That was nice of her. Most of them don’t even acknowledge you if you aren’t their direct client. I think I’d be more inclined to pay for a PT who was nice to me previously.
I had a really good workout, the usual routine of 14xchest press(3×8), 20kg dumbbells in each hand (3×8) (I’ve changed to this from the 30kg barbell cos I just feel better after), 14xab-machinex100 and then 50.5kg laying-down weights (3×8). I was very happy that my chest didn’t hurt this time when I used the ab-machine, like it has previously. I was cautiously testing how far I could pull the weight, waiting for the pain to appear – and it didn’t! Woohoo! I still did that exercise with caution however, but I was glad I was able to painlessly. It must’ve just been a strained muscle, or maybe it means my chest might actually be growing (hopefully) – who knows. Maybe wishful thinking. Vish tells me he thinks my arms look much bigger but it’s just my chest I gotta fill out a bit more. I’m trying. Part of me wishes I wasn’t so damn tall. It’s harder for tall people to look normal 😛
Scales read that I’m 88 kilos again. Woohoo!
After gym, I left and walked home via the bicentennial bikeway, which was a slight but nice change, and I walked across the Kilpara pedestrian bridge and down to Southbank that way. I didn’t really sunbake this time though. There were a couple of kiwi teens playing around near where I was sitting, splashing each other, and I was just glad the bitches didn’t get me, cos they were complaining how freezing cold the water was. Ummm duh! Of course it’s gunna be freezing haha. It was still a nice sunny day though and I enjoyed the sun, but since I kept my shirt on, I only had to sunscreen my arms and legs this time. I actually feel like I’m starting to get a nice somewhat-tan happening. It’s nice looking for yellowish than white. A couple of people at the fake beach were brown as however! They must tan constantly.
After that I had some food at one of the cafe’s there I’d never been to. I decided to get a chicken fettuccini and an orange carrot juice. Fuck it was yummy! I’m usually not that big of a fan of pasta, but I know it’s a good way to put on weight a bit more easily, so I opted for it. It was $18 but so so yummy. I was glad I’d ordered it. I checked in on Foursquare and took a photo of my food.
After that, I walked back to Spring Hill to meet my friend. I hadn’t seen her message on my phone because my phone is pretty lame sometimes, moreso my service provider (cough Vodafail COUGH), but luckily she’d only sent it about 40 minutes prior, and I told her I’d be back there soon – that I just had to walk over.
I still managed to get there before she did, but it wasn’t long til I saw her walking toward me on the street outside. We gave each other a big hug. I hadn’t seen her in a few weeks. We went inside the pub. She ordered a beer I think. I ordered a coke. We caught up and chatted for a while. I absolutely love how open she is. Not to mention how easy she is to open up to. We had a drink there and then decided to go and grab some dinner, cos neither of us had eaten, so we went to Roma street. She has a guy living upstairs from her who she claims ‘Looks like he’s from the Dolly magazine’ and he works there, so naturally, I wanted to go and see if he was on! Unfortunately he wasn’t. She didn’t sure if he is gay or straight, but reckons his housemates reckon he’s bi-curious. Apparently some surfy blonde boy. Hell yeah 🙂
But she and I laughed for ages about random stuff, mostly sexual. I told her all about what had happened and she asked me if that was why I shot through (ie. deleted facebook) lol. I told her it wasn’t, that I was just using it too much. She asked me if I’d seen my landlord’s photos, which i hadn’t, so she showed me some. Not bad!
We laughed some more and I told her about some of my adventures and she told me some of hers. I never knew women could be sometimes even worse than gay guys! You girls I read here and letting me down! Spill it!! lol!
I got home not long ago. The third State Of Origin match is on here tonight at Suncorp Stadium, which isn’t far from my house. There are people in maroon outfits everywhere, even in the foodcourt we were in. I only saw a couple of blue ones. I’m sure they’ll get heckled. The Beat has free drinks tonight, but I couldn’t be bothered going there – alone anyway, and it’s started to chill off a little. I’m pretty tired now so I might pass out early and wake up hopefully in time to catch a little bit more of Wimbledon. You know how I adore my tennis!
My days of being interesting are well over, I’m sorry!! You’re welcome to back read when I was 19 – 22. :p

lol I have no interesting stories. I’ve only been with 1 person and I’ve been with him since I was 19, so almost a quarter of my entire life! xxx

Yeah, I wanted to ask you that. I keep forgetting that you’re in “winter” right now, so how do you get to tan? Didn’t I read that it was only 5 degrees out the other day? I know we measure alot of stuff different, but do we measure temp different too? I love reading you because you are a half a day ahead of me and a half of a year (season) different too. Makes it interesting. We are technicallyin a heat wave right now, a very bad one. We don’t get this really, but it’s been in the high 90’s even low 100’s for about a week now, they say we might “cool off” this weekend, meaning to 88. I don’t have ac in my house except for a window unit in my living room, so naturally while my parents are out of town, I decided to go crash at their place in the cool air! =)
