Double whammy (pics)

Wow. Whoever nominated me for ‘Reader’s Choice’ for the previous entry, I did not expect 50+ replies to my humble little entry lol. *Blown Away*

I left work for the last time this morning 🙂

I had to train not one, but two other guys, so it was rather stupid having three of us on. One guy just wouldn’t listen to anything I said, but I was in a ‘who cares it’s not my problem anymore mood’ so it’ll be interesting to see how he goes when he’s by himself and something goes wrong =D

I said goodbye to a lot of the cabbies and grabbed a few business cards from my favourite ones. There were no tears, but I did give Anne a big hug goodbye.

I spent about 2 hours sitting outside chatting with friends who had shown up, including the girl who quit the same day I did, but she cleverly managed to get out of doing a week’s notice. Then my friend’s Vish and Trevor showed up, which was nice 🙂

6 cages of load arrived just before I was about to leave. HA! I walked out and told Anne to tell the boss to "Have fun with that."

Goodbye, farewell, nice knowing ya work! Who knows where this road will take me 🙂

Me walking out of work for the last time 🙂 Yes it’s still dark at 5am, wheras in summer when I leave it is light. Winter is approaching!

I went to gym afterwards and had a nice workout – still light though as I need to get back to the stage where I was pre-sickness. Most of it is gone I think, but I know it’s not completely.

I got home to find this on my doorstep. Wow.

It’s weird to hear you say it’s almost winter because we just got over winter – Or lack there of since it didn’t happen like normal- and we are just hitting spring! I’m so glad! I’m ready for sun and warmth and happiness! Yay for last day on your job! Now what? Did you figure anything out of where you’re going, what you’re gonna see, who you’re gonna do? =)

RYN: Yep, I am in north-central Texas, and every spring, things get a little wild. I’m startled you heard about it all the way over there, though–it’s almost routine here! And I’m already jealous of your coming winter–it’s going to be scorching hot here in about another month. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Australia; maybe it’s time I thought about it again! I had my cough for what seemed like forever. I took some extra strength cold fx and it seemed to do the trick. Also sitting in a sauna will steam out whatever cooties you have.
