Rambling

Originally I was working tonight, but I don’t have to cover for the new guy now cos his dad arrived early, so yay, three nights off 🙂 

I served a cop last night who looked a little unhappy.  I asked how his night was going and he responded with, ‘Just had a callout from a guy who claims his soul has been raped, and Satan has opened the floodgates to hell.’

I burst out laughing and joked with the cop that the guy would probably be in the psych-ward by the end of the day.  The cop said, ‘I dunno what he expects us to do, we’re not really cut out for this sort of thing.’

Haha, I’m assuming a concerned neighbour may have rang them.  Complete nutcases around lately I swear, there’s something in the water.  I’ve been lucky, but other workmates have just been hassled by completely rude customers, blasting them for the stupidest things!  One lady was convinced she put in $30 of fuel and argued the point profusely.  She actually only had $15.  My workmate ended up adding $15 cash out to the sale and leaving it in the till cos this woman was sooo adamant she was right.  Stupid dumb bitch.
On another shift, he got BLASTED by this woman because the till froze and some woman was screaming at him he didn’t know how to do his job properly and wanted to take her things when she hadn’t paid for them.  He said to me last night, ‘Fucking women lately, it’s like they are all on their cycles or something!’  I had to laugh.  At least women have that excuse!

I’ve been lucky, work’s been pretty good for me, I’ve been going there, doing my thing and doing it well (well I think), and I’ve been going to the gym well also!  Loving my progress.  There’s always this lady there who’s been going about as long as I’m going and I can definitely see the difference.  She must be in her 40’s at least, and she looks amazing!  I’m thinking of saying something to her.  She’s even started up personal training in the past few weeks.

Well this entry is more of a ramble.  Since I now no longer have to work tonight, I’m going to see a movie with Shel.  He rang me before and ‘What’s Your Number’ comes out today in Australia, and I LOVE Anna Faris so I’m a hell-yeah going to see it 🙂  Haven’t slept yet.  Meh who needs that?

I’m very glad Emma-Louise is talking to me again.  I really miss her diary here.
