Neighbour says ‘Get out!’

So I’d just gotten home from watching ‘Water For Elephants’ (amazing, amazing film by the way – four and a half stars) and there was a knock at the door.  It didn’t seem like my housemates were home so I answered it, expecting it to be one of their friends.  Unfortunately it was a more fugly face – the butch lezzo from next door.  She had come over to tell me that unless I can persuade New Housemate to leave, then she is going to file a ‘Residential Tenancies Order’ with the body corportate who whoever it is, which means that all three of us living here will get kicked out and have blackmarks against our names for if we ever try to rent anywhere else under our own names.

This was brought on by the fact that last night my housemate went around and put letters in everyones mailboxes informing them that there will be a party this Saturday night and that the noise will be between around 6pm and 10pm and the party has been registered with the police.  Well obviously this letter was the final straw for our dear lezzo neighbour who decided it upon herself to let me know that she was going to go over the top of our landlord (he won’t answer he emails or anything because he can’t STAND them – and I don’t blame him).  She told me she has enough records to use against us and that she understands that it’s not my fault because I’ve been here for ages and I’m always at work.  I said to her ‘Well this is bloody unfair on me then isn’t it?  All I can do is let my housemates know what you’ve told me and let the landlord know as well.  I said to her ‘Why can’t you talk to my housemates about this?’ and she said I could pass it on.  Sure enough, towards the end, New housemate comes walking down the street and catches us talking, and the stupid bitch neighbour takes off back inside – too pussy to repeat what she’s just told me!  So once inside with new housemate I had to recite what I could recall the best I could and told him about this "’order’ she is taking out against us to get all three of us kicked out, unless I can persuade you to leave."

I’m not too worried.  The whole time she was talking to me I was half tuned out as I’m always the one who happens to be home and ‘lectured’ when I have no idea what the fuck has gone on while I’m not here.  I didn’t believe her either and think it’s an empty threat.  New housemate rang the police and asked them what they thought, but they don’t deal with it.  He tried to ring the QRTA but it was two minutes past five, so he just missed office hours.  He’ll ring them again tomorrow to see if the bitch and whoever else on the street who’s in on this, has any merit whatsoever.

I find it interesting that she’s taking out an order, which I assume would be to end an agreement, when in fact none of us are even on leases here in the first place.  Good luck terminating something that doesn’t exist, bitch.
