Gold Coast

I’m on the Gold Coast at the moment at my mate Brent’s place.  It’s actually really good to get out of the house and go somewhere other than work, so I’m glad I didn’t end up having to work last night.  The drive up was a good run.  Unfortunately I have to head back today because I have work tonight, but I’m meeting my friend Kimmy at Max Brenner.  So glad Brisbane finally has one (it’s a chocolate bar), but I guess it’s just another place to take my money haha.  It’s not like I can have it too often.  It’ll be great to see Kimmy again though, as we usually only catch up for dinner once every 6 months or so.  It’s crap!  Then I’ll probably have to go straight to work from there, but at least I only have three shifts until I get another 3 days off 🙂  I can go to the Beat Members night yay!  So that worked out well, free alcohol.  I’ll feel like I’ll need it I think – I hate this rut I seem to get in every so often – not like alcohol will solve the problem.  Knowing my luck I’ll probably end up winning thee damn tv now that I’ve bought one haha.
I keep buying way too many dvd’s.  I’ve bought like 9 or 10 the last few days, I guess because of the new TV and wanting something to watch on it, as I don’t have an aerial to plug into the wall socket yet, so alas, no TV.  Be nice to be rich, I could just put foxtel on, but nah, not good.  Might stop me being bored on my nights off though.  I’m looking forward to getting back to the gym properly as I feel I’m nearly all better.  The bandages are all off, and I haven’t had any problems since removing them all yay 😀  Will just be another few months until the colour returns to the same colour as the rest of the skin, but they look sooo much better than they did pre-op 🙂  This summer will be a great one!  No longer feeling self-conscious on those silly days! 

Having a great time down here although not here for long, it seems long enough.  We watched ‘The Neverending Story’ last night.  First time I’d ever seen it haha.  Brent couldn’t believe it!

So yeah I guess all i have to say is back to work tonight.  I keep looking at that bloggie camera wondering if I really need it lol, it’s down to less than $200 but I think that’s a special price.  Either way I’m gunna have to wait for pay day and refrain from buying DVD’s haha.
It’s been good here, using Brent’s internet to download shit cos I don’t have enough to do so at my place.  Damn all my friends with huge internet limits!  i have to make-do with my 8g, which I’ve completely used up but oh well tomorrow is the 1st so a new month 🙂  I just have to make-do with reading erotica rather than watching porn 🙂  Uses way less bandwidth!  Luckily I have a pretty hot imagination.
