Day 7 – Your Ex-boyfriend/ Ex-girlfriend

Dear Joshy,

This letter is to you, as you were my most recent boyfriend.  It’s been years since I’ve had another one.  You broke up with me cos you ‘didn’t see us working out’.  I didn’t see us working out either, but you broke up with me just when I was starting to give you a chance.  So yeah, of course I was hurt.  Even moreso when I saw you out and saw you’d begun smoking. I kinda find that funny for some reason.  I said I wouldn’t date a smoker even since I was little, and you began after we ended.  That was many years ago though, and I hope we can get along.  I get along with all my other ex-boyfriends.  My ex-girlfriend, not so much.  She is ashamed of the whole gay thing.  Don’t blame her, but I can say her kiss was enough to turn anyone gay.  Girls are usually great kissers, but that was like being slobbered on my Scooby-Doo himself.
So Josh, this is a short letter to you.  I hope you’re well and that we can get along again soon.  I was chuffed to hear that after we broke up you wanted me back.  You made your decision.  Your boyfriend after me fucked you over.  Don’t think I didn’t hear about that either.
