I gave my beaver a clean!

I gave Beaver a much needed wash today!  Boy was she a dirty whore or what!?  I found dirt in places I didn’t know dirt could get to and I had to use shitloads of elbow-grease to remove the stubborn stains.  For those of you who don’t know.. Beaver is my car!  She’s a bit rough round the edges but she always enjoys a good hard ride.

I’m back into gym again yay!  After two weeks of not going on account of the job change, I’ve figured out a system to make it work.  I’m still going to my usual gym, and the hot guy there (who my housemate assures me is as camp as a row of tents yet my gaydar’s still a bit iffy) is still there so I have someone to perve on.  well there’s one personal trainer as well who isn’t too bad.  Then there’s the personal trainer who I once had a sex dream about, and he’s not too bad, but he wouldn’t have been my first choice – stupid dream – choose the right guy!  Must say it was pretty good either way haha.

I’m into my third week of work at my current store, and I’m really settled in, just like I was at my old store.  I think a lot of the people there still think I’m only helping out, so they haven’t got to know me, but one guy in the lunchroom asked and I confirmed that yeah I’m there permanently, not visiting.  The store is a lot smaller and I’ve had to get used to using lifts to get the stock from the stockroom to the shop floor but it isn’t too bad – haven’t had any troubles yet.  The managers seem nice and it’s always great to get a hug from Tash every morning (who I used to work with).

I kinda just want the work-week over with though.  Although I pride myself on working hard, I only work to get money so i can afford to have fun on my days off 🙂  I’ve always been one who refuses to let work become my life, because once that happens, I might as well kiss the rest of my social life goodbye, and I am not going to do that.

Three more big days to get through.  Today was my half day so i worked 5am til 10am, then I walked to my gym, did my workout, walked back to the city with the intention of buying a handheld vacuum cleaner so I could clean out my car, but when I saw the price of them I was like ‘HELL NO’ and decided that $70 could be spent elsewhere.  I was almost gunna get it, then thought ‘hang on, I’ll use this like maybe once or twice in the next few years, what is the point?’ so I left it, and i bought some food I’ll need for this week (must eat properly again and focus on it) and some protein powder (a brand I’ve been meaning to try for a while but I had to wait til my current container had been finished off).  I then went home, took that, and went outside with a bucket of water and got the sponge from my car, and went to work.  Beaver was SO dirty.  I think it’s been like 2 years or so since she last had a proper wash that wasn’t a torrential downpour.  my car is named Beaver on account of my number plate letters – and I think it fits well considering I’m a gay man – my car needs to be a lesbian.  But, she’s all clean now!!

I jsut got done watching the new Darren Hayes dvd – now his damn songs are stuck in my head!

This weekend I’m going to a friend of a friend’s joint birthday party with his boyfriend.  I’ll know a few people there, so that’ll be good phew.  After the next few days I’ll probably wanna get smashed.  I’ve got a carton of red bull and a bottle of jagermeister in the cupboard so I’m pretty sure I’m set.  C’mon three days!
