Little bro in a car accident

My little brother is lucky to be alive.  I was at work this morning and checked my phone during my tea break, to see I had a message.  I found it weird that I had a message that early in the morning, and I read it.  It was from my dad.

"Craig had car accident last night.  he is ok.  thank god.  lucky to get out alive.  lost control hit power pole in millmerran"

I asked if he was in hospital.  Dad said ‘No.  Just a bit sore.  Must have a guardian angel.’

Mum rang me this afternoon telling me she had a some bad news.  I was wondering what it was, and she told me about Craig, but in more detail.  There were apparently two other people in the car with my bro – both with bad injuries.  All survived though thank god.   The idiot was headed back from the pub.  He’ll probably lose his licence for at least a year, who knows.  It was hard to hear her because I was walking through the city and it was loud, and whenever I said something, for some reason, it was echoed back at me.  Stupid phone.

I picked up my Kelly Clarkson tickets.  Yay!
