Cirque Du Soleil – WOW!!!
Electric – Lisa Scott-Lee
Touch Me I’m Electric
Touch Me I’m Electric
Touch Me I’m Electric
yeah, I’m Electric
[Verse 1:]
Take me out of your pocket
Plug me into your socket
Enough to launch a rocket,
yeah yeah yeah
If you want me then later
I’ll buzz like a vibrator,
an energy creator,
yeah, yeah, yeah
[Pre 1:]
I can’t resist it it’s all over warranty expired,
yeah
Watching you closely
I’m charged aint no batteries required
[Chorus:]
Duracell got nothing on me
You know you’re turning me on
And I’m ready to blow
Yeah baby I’m electric
Pent up electricity
Jack me up feeling the E
You’d better leave me alone
If you’re not ready to go
Yeah baby I’m electric
Touch Me I’m Electric
[Verse 2:]
Make me come pull my wire
If it’s what you desire
Tonight let’s start a fire,
yeah, yeah, yeah
Feel me, I’m unprotected
See spots now we’re connected
This preset
is selected,
yeah, yeah, yeah
[Pre 2:]
10,000 vaults in my head
aint no way to unwind
Watch out in case I short circuit
and leave you behind.
[Repeat Chorus:]
[Middle 8:]
I’m not gonna put up a fight
It come sets my body alight
I feel it run through my veins
It’s made a mess in my brain
Touch Me I’m Electric
I know I like just wrote an entry, but I got home from Cirque Du Soleil a while ago and want to write about it whilst the memory of it is still fresh 🙂
Word’s can’t describe, literally, how unreal it was. Like I’m talking gob-smacking, fingers on your cheeks, pick-mouth-up-of-floor amazement. I think Cirque Du Soleil ("Varekai") is here for another week or so, and I wanna say to any Brisbane people to go and see it cos you will not regret it. I feel somewhat intimidated writing a review on it when one of my favourites has seen the show herself, incase I miss something or she disagrees, but wow wow wow wow wow. First of all, even before I get to the performances – the COSTUMES!!! Holy Shit~!!! These are some pics I found online but god there were so many more amazing ones…
you know what to do…*cough* hover *cough*
Oh *drools* that guy in the white, so cute – i adored the sultry, inquizitive looks he kept giving as part of his performance…. hahaha. If only I could’ve met the cast backstage – how awesome would that be 😀
I was especially amazed by the flips and somersaults off each others feet and butts, and the contortionist, oh and the juggler! He juggled what I think were table-tennis balls with his mouth by spitting them out and catching them.. unreal. I was on the edge of my seat most of the show.
Yep, my second Cirque Du Soleil performance I’ve been to, having seen "Quidam" last time they were here, and once again, money definitely well spent. I’m so proud of myself for going. The thing that really amazes me is all the songs and music and choreography and EVERYTHING is original! They definitely go all out, and I’m sure the crew would have the time of their lives touring the world. Of course I fucked up going there and ended up having to pay for the toll on the gateway even though I DON’T GO PAST IT, and then had to pay AGAIN when I finally found an exit to turn around to the other side of the motorway – such an idiot, but hey I keep a toll-stash in my car for those reasons, so I didn’t kick myself too hard for going too far round the roundabout.
The traffic trying to get out of the place (after the performance) was horrendous, even though I did rush out to try to beat it. I ended up turning around and was going to sleep until most people left, but then the traffic started going in one part and not the part i was in, so I started up the car and took off – and look, now I’m home writing this 🙂 I’d probably still be there if I stayed with the original route.
So I’m still on a high from the show, and I’d adore it if I could go see it again – it was that good, but I believe I’m working every day for the rest of the time they are here. It sucks they won’t be in Perth until well after I’ve left there. Otherwise I’d take my best mate and also Emma-Louise! 😀

f” size=”5″>WHAT A SHOW!
I am really jealous but also glad that you enjoyed it. I want to go see cirque du soleil and I will one day. That’s the problem with going to places like that, is the traffic afterwards. It’s horrendous with all the people and vehicles, honking, shouting, etc… But if you think about your experience during the show, you remember that it definately was worth it. Im off because I keep rambling, bye
