The problem with buying Christmas (or birthday) presents for people is trying not to buy something that somebody else will already have bought that person.  I’m have a dilemma in deciding what to buy my little brother for his 21st birthday.  Now I know we hardly ever talk these days and the only time I ever see him or any of my family is at family gatherings.  Out of the four children in my family, none of us contact each other to see how the others are going.  That’s pretty bad hey… We never really had the communicate-with-your-siblings-after-you-all-move-out-of-home talk with my parents.  But, I feel as the older brother, I should be nice and get him something he might like.  Our older siblings are like almost 10 years older than me and my little brother.  He’s not so much a little brother anymore, as he will be turning 21.  The traditional present to get a person for a 21st would be any amount of copious alcohol.  But I wanna get something different.  I had an idea for a Big Day Out ticket, but, of course, it’s all sold out and I am not paying $300 off ebay for one ticket.  I’ve got about two weeks to find something I guess.

So, it’s 10:00pm on December the 3rd, so that means it’s two hours until my birthday officially begins.  You know what?  I’m actually somewhat looking forward to it.  Like I’m thinking tomorrow is a special day.  I don’t have much planned other than I’ll probably see a movie, go to Luke’s place and then anotehr mates place tomorrow night.  So it’s not like I’m going to be doing jack shit, which is what I pretty much did today.  Today all I did that’s worth mentioning is I did my domesticated grocery shopping.  I ran into a few people I knew there, but the chick who served me behind the counter was rather rude.  If I was the type to complain, I would’ve, but unfortunately for me, and fortunately for them, I’m not.  So it’s a rather refreshing feeling to be looking forward to the next day for once.  Tomorrow’s my birthday!!   Ah well, might as well be excited about it, right?  Only getting older hehe.  Bring on 23 and another year world!

It was so hot today that the heat woke me up.  I layed there for like 2 hours, too lazy to get out of bed.  Why should I on my day off.  I get tomorrow off too for my b’day  And because it was so hot, a storm formed.  It started raining when I was shopping, so I had to do a run back to my car.  It was actually really awesome!  Running in the rain with a trolley-full of groceries.  The water was so warm and nice that I ended up putting my trolley under the cover and standing out in the rain, allowing myself to get saturated.  It was awesome!  Normally people run because either the water is cold, its uncomfortable or it will wreck their hair or the clothes they are wearing, but today I was only wearing my sleeveless shirt and board shirts, so I made the most of it 😀  I then climed back into my car, getting the seat wet haha – who cares.

It sucks Charlotte’s Web isn’t out until this Thursday – cos I’d love to see that.  It looks so cute and was one of the first books I ever read.  I think that and ‘The Wizard of Oz’.  I reckon I could welcome a whole new world into my life if I got back into reading, but lately all I seem to be sticking to is the magazines (DNA, AXM, Smash Hits, TV Hits, ATM, Blue…) I guess that’s reading something.  I used to read a lot of books including the Goosebumps and Fear-Street series.  R.L Stine was in Brisbane recently, but of course I had to work – woulda been awesome to meet my favourite author from my childhood.

I’m watching Big Daddy (this movie is soo cute), and just watched ‘So you think you can dance’ – wow, what a cool show.  I didn’t think it would be, but some of the choreography and performances are just wow-factor.

I tried to pay my bill again today but wasn’t able to – again.  Grrr.  I’m gunna have to give them a call tomorrow and pay over the phone I think.  that’s if THAT even works.  It’s not like I haven’t been not trying to pay the fucking thing.  And tisk, you’re so right, you should be able to park wherever the hell you w

ant.  I blame Stacie Orrico for my fine though!  I was in a rush to see her!  I might have to pass on my fine to her management. 🙂  Nah, she’s cool, I take responsibility – I just didn’t think I’d have to pay two fines for one damn offence.  We learn from our mistakes though.  I just really wanna pay this fine before they hand it onto a debt collection agency.  Juuuuust what I need.
