NoJoMo 24: Just Another Day

Meh.  Nothing at all happened today.  KInda tired.  Watching football after having watch Champions League soccer.  Ate chicken tikka masala with home made naan bread.  Lets see if this pic works:

Walked down to the sports hall, which is right down the block from us, this evening with Emma to buy her a taekwondo outfit.  She was totally mesmerized watching the black belts practice.  I think it is way cool that she likes taking karate.

I have nothing else.  Yawning and can’t think of anything.  Happy Thanksgiving eve!

Since this was just another day, I thought I would take this opportunity to post the Oingo Boingo song, Just Another Day.  I have seen Oingo Boingo in concert more times than any other band.  I drove to Minneapolis to see them three days before my high school graduation.  I drove to Lawrence, Kansas to see them as well.  I even drove to Los Angeles before I moved there, picked up my friend on the way in Santa Fe, New Mexico and saw Boingo during the 4 days we spent in LA, before driving back.  And of course I saw them numerous times when I lived in LA.   This is from their Farewell Halloween concert.  They were such a good live band.  I also found a bad quality video of this song from the ’93 Halloween show which I was at!

I was thinking of who else I have seen live.  Lots of people of course, but more big deals.  A few years ago, as a birthday present, my wife got me tickets to see Kraftwerk, sort of a life long dream of mine.  It was awesome, of course.  It looked very much like this:

 Hard to believe that song is 30 years old. 

I also got to see the Foo Fighters a few years ago.  That was a kick ass show.  Grohl is so awesome.  Less people, but it looked a lot like this.  One of my favorite older Foo songs, My Hero.
