sunset at 30,000 feet

wow, what an awesome flight home….especially watching the most amazing sunset I have seen in years from the plane.

Missing the family already but glad to be home too. The cats must have missed me, it took Bella a couple of hours to forgive me for leaving, but the all-forgiving Basil-Fluff couldn’t get enough cuddles from the start.

Today I am spending hours sorting out my pc again. its all fixed, except they replaced the hard-drive that had died and so now am having to start again from scratch. I hardly know what I am doing as I am such a techno-dinosaur, but getting there slowly. Am very saddened I have lost EVERYTHING that was in there though, especially my book. Its my own fault for not saving it to disc, I know, but never got around to it!!! (I’m not usually such a procrastinator, just a cockeyed optomist!)

Fortunatly though, I hadn’t got too far and had at least saved a few pages into hard copy (before the printer got dried up). Anyway it will take a while to get back alot of the stuff I used (graphics particularly) in my email setup….and I still have to download other programmes again….oh well….its all a good learning curve!!

It is much warmer here than it was down south at QT and the sunshine is always a boost isn’t it, so I am fine.

Leg still slow but improving daily. Not yet up to walking into town or anywhere too far, but as long as its fine by summer that will be great. Spring is officially only a few days away now….yipee !!!!!

Flowers are bursting out in abundance, and I recall seeing several new calves and lambs down south before I left….its my favourite time of year!!!
