Call for a Good Time

Random Flashback:

I was about eight years old. I haven’t the foggiest, where I got this idea… perhaps from a late-night TV show… perhaps from one of my ne’er do well Catholic school classmates… who knows? But, I had it in my mind that I was going to dial 1-900-LESBIAN, and see what happened.

So, I went to the phone and dialed.

And, friends and neighbors? Let me tell yous something-

It takes a LONG-ASS TIME to dial a number like that on a rotary phone.

And all I got was a message saying that the number was incompatible with my phone hardware.

Probably a good thing. I am sure that my parents would not have been pleased when they received the phone bill…
