unexpected…

Ok, I’m not really exactly sure how it happened, since I didn’t feel like I was really doing anything all that differant or special this last week, but I guess something must have been differant… I lost 5 pounds… I weighed in today at 241.5 and last week I was 246.5  Some of that might have been some bloating, I don’t know.  I guess the real test is going to be this next week, we’ll see if I can manage the so far seemingly impossible task of getting into the 230’s.

I guess at least this time I’m at this weight because I’ve been making more of an effort as far as my food intake is concerned.  After those couple of days where I just ate more like I normally would, it’s no wonder I haven’t gotten anywhere.  I think just that little bit of concious effort about what I’m eating really helped.  Last time I got down to this weight it was because I had strep throat and could barely eat anything for 5 days!   I’m still surprised though that keeping track of my calories hasn’t been making me get all freaked out and eat more.  Maybe after another week I can try following the suggested diet a little more.  Hummm… I mean if I keep doing this well just paying closer attention to what I eat, I could have some really amazing results if I followed their diet.
