Happy Thanksgiving!
We’ve had a wonderful, yummy, family and food filled holiday, and I’m hoping all of you were able to enjoy your Thanksgiving (or your Thursday!) just as much as I have.
I really needed today, away from the house, spending time with people I love, because I’ve been SUPER stressed out this week. Aaron started school only to discover his class is ten weeks long instead of five, so now I’m faced with another ten weeks without him. And he doesn’t get his overage loan money until he finishes class, so I’m having to make do on my paycheck and that includes paying for gas money for him to drive to Akron every week. Our Christmas is going to be a little bare this year, that’s for sure. But as long as I can keep the bills paid (and I can, because there will be enough for that), that’s okay and we’ll use it as a teaching lesson for the kids to be thankful for the things they already have. I’m worried about what might happen if I don’t get kept on at the store after Christmas is over, but I’m going to cross that bridge when I come to it.
I’ve got a little bit of work to do on my website right now, but after that, I’m hitting the hay so I can be rested for the Black Friday nightmare tomorrow. Thank heavens I don’t have to be at work until 10, so I’ll miss out on the nasty doorbuster craziness.
