Location:  in the kitchen, trying to clean
Mood:  tired, but happy
Listening to:  General Hospital for background noise on the TV

I headed back to class this morning, after dragging myself out of bed at six.  Both of the kids ended up getting up when I did, so Aaron had to get up, too.  Whoops.  lol.

All of my classes seem like they will be useful and informative, but not too difficult.  I’ve got Small Business Managment, which is going to help me so much because my final in that class is a written, complete business plan and I plan to use the opportunity and write my plan up for my photography business.  Then I have Business Communication and Payroll Accounting.  All good classes.  The bonus: there aren’t more than six student in any of those classes, including me.  Small class sizes are the greatest.

I don’t have class on Friday so I’m trying to bust my rear today and tomorrow to get the house cleaned up so I can enjoy the holiday weekend and not stress about the mess.  I’m fairly sure we’ll have a cookout or two to attend, and I don’t want to be scrambling for that stuff at the last minute.

Things are actually going really well around the house this week.  Aaron and I have been getting along fine, which pleasantly surprises me.  We still haven’t come together on any final decision to reconcile, but we had a nice talk the other night that helped things along.  At this point I’m leaning in that direction, because I’m really starting to realize all the things I did that messed up our relationship as well, and I’d like to have the chance to show that I can learn and do better.  But we’ll see.  Like I said, I’m still weighing all the options and the pros and cons.  I figure he and I will sit down again for another talk this weekend, because I requested the last time we talked that I would like us both to be thinking about what we expect from the other person as a spouse and a parter and a parent.  I want to compare notes and see where we’re having differences of opinion, because that is going to be one of the areas where we can improve our communication the most.

And I have to admit, it’s been really nice having him here in the house when we aren’t bickering or feeling resentful of one another.

In other news, my first engagement session is in a week and a half.  Eep!  I’m ready, I know I am, but I’m still nervous.  I don’t think I’d be so nervous if I wasn’t shooting for one of my good friends, but in a way that also makes it easier, because I’m sometimes a bit aloof around strangers.  Either way, I’m still excited.  I need to get up to the shoot site and give it the once over because it’s been a few years since I’ve been to the park, and I need to pick up some bigger memory cards (I only shoot RAW when I’m shooting "professionally").

Well, I’m guessing I need to get back to the cleaning.  I’ve been taking a long enough break.  Back to grind….
