wasting time
I’ve had a very unproductive day.
We had a long day yesterday that included (but was not limited to) eight hours of driving, six hours in the sun (and a monster sunburn), getting lost three times, getting caught in a torrential downpour, and one fussy baby, a tantrummy toddler and a twelve year old full of attitude.
Then we got home and Chloe didn’t go to sleep until 3am.
Thus why I’ve wandered the house in a fog all day.
Aaron’s been here. He’s gone at the moment, off to check on his friends’ house. They’re visiting family in SC so he’s house sitting for two weeks.
I’m waiting on him to get back before I hop in the shower. Then I guess we’ll be having our ‘discussion’. I’ll update about that later.
I’ve been trying to tweak the photoblog, because I wasn’t happy at all with the width of the template I chose. Took a little digging, but I figured out how to widen it so I can take advantage of 100% of my screen width instead of just 60%. I’m going to have to redesign my header to correspond with the new width, but that’s easily done
On of my goals on my Mission 101 list is a Project 365, and I’m thinking into diving into that soon. I was going to wait until the first of the year, but then I figured, why wait? Today (or tomorrow, or whenever) is as good a day as any. I’m just trying to figure out a "theme" for my 365.
I’ve seriously thought about doing the self portrait 365, but I don’t know if I can keep up that level of dedication. I don’t know, maybe I’ll do something different and have a different 365 theme for every month. A month of self-portraits, a month of nature, a month of macro, a month of my favorite things, a month of Ben, a month of Chloe….there are endless possibilities.
I’ll do some more thinking on this later. Now I’m going to go suck some photos off the camera and kill some time editing until Aaron gets back.
